Welcome – LCAP Online Community Engagement 2014

LCAP Online Community Engagement 2014: Welcome

Thank you for your interest in the Glendale Unified School District online community engagement. In the fall of 2014 we invited our community to share their Thoughts about what we’re doing well and where we can improve. We then invited our community to review and prioritize their thoughts and the thoughts of others by placing Stars next to the ideas that were most important to them. Our goal was to get a sense of shared values and priorities from our schools and community. We are excited to share these results with you.

Response from the community was affirming and your feedback will be instrumental in providing assistance to the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) committee and the District as decisions are made in providing a high quality education to ALL students. We encourage you to view the video below and dig into the results over the next few pages to see what your community is thinking and feeling.

The time spent by our community to engage in this process is deeply appreciated.

Sincerely,
Dr. Richard Sheehan
Superintendent of Schools
