IMPORTANT THOUGHTS FROM THE Theodore Roosevelt Middle SchoolCOMMUNITY

THINGS PEOPLE APPRECIATE

7-period day schedule allows all students to have at least one elective –

It is important because it engages kids more in school and keep them interested and also provides a venue for exploration.

Supportive Principal –

I really feel we have such a supportive principal at our school site who wants to attend IEP meetings and be involved in the process.

office hours give teachers time to speak with parents –

this is important because the more we bring parents into the picture to support their children, the more we can hold students accountable for their work product at school…parents must be partners in this work.

School communicating with parents eficiently and promplty. Keeping parents –

aware of the activities and upcoming events as well as attendance and student performance

I really appreciate our principal who is very supportive and is willing to –

do the legwork for the betterment of our school. She is a tremendous leader who has the right intentions.
